JB performance scheduled for Monday morning on Sydney Harbor had to be cancelled over concerns for the safety of the fans. Fans had been camped out since Sunday night to see his only scheduled performance in Australia.
The show released the following statement on the matter:
“Global phenomenon Justin Bieber’s only Australian public performance caused such an enormous crowd to descend on Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal that police had to cancel it due to safety concerns.
“As of 4.30am, Monday 26 April, the police shut the gates to the area and said that due to safety concerns no more fans would be permitted into the area.
“Around 5.20am, with the forecourt area at full capacity and fans still arriving, the police ordered Sunrise to cancel the performance.”
Later on, Justin tweeted the following about the concert event:
“I love my fans….and I am just as disappointed as everyone else with the news from this morning. I want to sing for my fans”
It’s true, Justin Bieber fans in Australia are just as crazy as the ones here in the U.S. and UK.

Yes this is really sad. It was like 4am and like heaps of ppl were rushing at the fence and they like squashed 10 13 year olds and soo they like ruined it for everyone:(. In the end it was good cause he did baby in the sunrise studio:) it was great btw:) damn he can rap tge Luda part really good!!:)
Oh yea the 13 year olds fainted and had to go to hospital:(

Only the fans to blame, nobody would comply with instructions from crowd control so game over! To put it in perspective: “who cares at least i didn’t get smached” sums it all up, nobody cared what was going on so the thing was cancelled.

i kinda wished i was there but it was ok cos i saw it on sunrise and yes we r carzy 4 him we got BIEBER FEVER and in aussie theres no cure lol

omg, i was so sad when it said it was canclled . so i ran to the sunrise studio, which you only sang 1 song , you shoud of came out and sign autographs , BUT COME BACK TO AUSTRALIA NEXT TIME !
