Why was Justin Bieber Australian Performance Cancelled?

April 26, 2010

in News

Justin Bieber fans leave Sydney's Circular Quay.

Justin Bieber was supposed to stage a free show in front of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Sydney’s Circular Quay on sunday. But it was cancelled.

Police say a lack of parental supervision was one of the reasons they cancelled Justin Bieber’s only Australian performance. Eight people had to be taken to hospital after being crushed in the frenzied crowd.

Later that day, groups of fans, mostly teenage girls started gathering at the venue.
